Week Eight of the North American League Championship Series (NA LCS) Recap:
Day two of Week Eight in the NA LCS was action-packed with exciting matches. Here are the highlights:
Counter Logic Gaming vs. Team Liquid:
Counter Logic Gaming (CLG) won against Team Liquid (TL) in a tough three-game series.
Game 1: TL dominated the first match with a score of 21-9 in their favor. The standout performance came from TL’s Lourlo, who went 9/0/3 on Irelia.
Game 2: CLG bounced back in the second game with Huhi leading the charge as Cassiopeia.
Game 3: The deciding match was intense, with CLG making a thrilling comeback led by their ADC Stixxay. They secured the win after acing TL and taking down their towers and inhibitors.
Cloud9 vs. Team EnVyUs:
Cloud9 (C9) emerged victorious against Team EnVyUs, winning the series 2-0.
Game 1: EnVyUs had a strong start, but C9 made a comeback by securing objectives and eventually winning the game. Impact stood out with his performance as Irelia.
Game 2: C9 continued their dominance in the second game, securing a decisive victory. Smoothie’s Bard played a key role in the team’s success.
Phoenix1 vs. Team SoloMid:
Phoenix1 (P1) caused an upset by beating the top-seeded Team SoloMid (TSM) in a thrilling series.
Game 1: TSM controlled the first game, resulting in a routine victory for them. Bjergsen played exceptionally well as Malzahar.
Game 2: P1 surprised everyone with a shocking win in the second game, thanks to Inori’s impressive performance as Rengar.
Game 3: Inori continued his dominance in the third game as Rek’Sai, leading P1 to a victory and securing the upset.
Immortals vs. Apex:
Immortals (IMT) defeated Apex in a two-game series.
Game 1: The first game was a close battle, but IMT’s better late-game performances secured their win. WildTurtle played exceptionally well as Jhin.
Game 2: IMT showcased their strength in the second match, outplaying and outsmarting Apex. Reignover stood out with his performance as Gragas.
