TSM and Team Liquid Owners Bet $100,000 on LCS Match

In a recent episode of “Hotline League,” Steve Arhancet and Andy “Reginald” Dinh, owners of Team Liquid and TSM respectively, placed a $100,000 bet on the upcoming match between their League of Legends Championship Series teams.

Trash Talking Builds Hype for LCS Match

Throughout the 2019 LCS Spring Split playoffs, Arhancet and Dinh engaged in a series of trash talk, generating excitement for the highly anticipated match.

LCS Showdown and Strong Words on Twitter

Dinh took to Twitter and boldly stated, “I can’t wait to crush Team Liquid. They’ve never been able to win anything without buying talent.” Arhancet countered with his own remark, saying, “Andy called it Team Solo Mid because it’s the only position they can afford.”

Betting on the Line

Notably, this isn’t the first time LCS team owners have proposed betting on matches. Last year, Reginald suggested a charity bet, challenging team owners to put $10,000 on the line for the winner of the finals.

Spring Split Championship Up for Grabs

Today, at 3pm CT, Team Liquid and TSM will face off to determine the winner of the Spring Split championship and the $100,000 bet.
