Origen Signs Jakub “Jactroll” Skurzyński as Support Player

Jakub “Jactroll” Skurzyński has officially joined Origen as their new support player. He will be replacing Mitchell “Destiny” Shaw for week five of the 2020 LEC Summer Split and will debut against Misfits Gaming and G2 Esports.

Destiny Competes for Starting Support Position on Equal Terms

According to Origen, Destiny will have an equal chance to secure the starting support position alongside Jactroll and will function as a sixth member of the team.

Acquiring Jactroll to Boost Origen’s Chances of Reaching Worlds

Origen’s decision to acquire Jactroll halfway through the regular season is driven by their goal to qualify for Worlds. With a current record of 4-5, Origen is currently ranked fifth in the standings and aims to improve their performance against the top teams in the league.

In a tweet, Origen welcomed Jactroll to the team and announced his participation in the upcoming match against G2 Esports.

Jactroll Brings Valuable Experience and Communication Skills

Jactroll is a player known and trusted by Origen’s coaches. According to general manager Martin “Deficio” Lynge, Jactroll has considerable LEC experience and clear strengths and weaknesses. He has seamlessly integrated into the team’s communication system and has excellent synergy with ADC Elias “Upset” Lipp.

A Look Back at Jactroll’s Journey

Jactroll previously played as the starting support for Team Vitality during the 2020 LEC Spring Split. However, after finishing last in the regular season, he was replaced by Pierre “Steeelback” Medjaldi.

The LEC Summer Split continues on Friday, July 17, with Origen facing off against Misfits at 2pm CT.
