Origen’s Impressive Start, Up Against KT Rolster, and the Key to 40 Percent Success

Origen Shows They Can Contend for a World Title

Origen, from the Challenger Series to the League of Legends World Championship stage this week, has proven themselves as strong contenders for a World title. They pulled off an upset win over China’s top seed LGD Gaming, and secured a victory over Team SoloMid. With these wins, Origen is now in a fight for the top spot in their group.

A Relieving Win for Origen

One member of Origen, Maurice “Amazing” Stückenschneider, who wore the black-and-white colors of the American side at last year’s Worlds event, finds the victory over Team SoloMid particularly relieving. He downplayed the win, saying, “We don’t consider them favorites in our group. We still respect them, but we don’t value them as highly as the other teams in the group.” Stückenschneider played a large part in shutting down his former team.

Origen Believes They Are Better Than LGD Gaming

Stückenschneider believes that Origen is still better than LGD Gaming, despite their underperformance. LGD Gaming’s poor picks against KT Rolster set them up for a tough time.

Origen’s Gameplan to Beat KT Rolster

Origen will face KT Rolster tomorrow, and Stückenschneider believes that good communication between lanes and having the right picks and bans is key to victory. He emphasizes the need to keep KT Rolster jungler, Score, and support player, Piccaboo, out of their jungle.

A win over KT Rolster would put Origen in a fantastic position to qualify for the knockout stages and potentially top their group. However, Stückenschneider remains focused and humble, giving himself a 40 percent chance to make something happen.

Origen as a team, with their talented players, have experienced a meteoric rise. Stückenschneider attributes their success to the personalities within the team and their hard work.

Looking towards the future, Stückenschneider believes that if they keep practicing and stay with their current roster, they can be a top 4 contender at Worlds in 2016.

Origen will complete their first round of matches against KT Rolster tomorrow. A win would put them in an outstanding 3-0 standing, while a loss would still keep them in the driver’s seat with a 2-1 record. Their goal is to advance from their group, and they are on course to do so.
