Origen Roster Undergoes Hybrid’s Departure

Glenn “Hybrid” Doornenbal Announces Departure from Origen Team

Glenn “Hybrid” Doornenbal has recently announced that he is leaving the Origen organization and their League of Legends team. In a tweet, he expressed his disappointment with the last split and thanked the fans for their support.

In the Spring Split, Hybrid won with G2 Esports, but the team didn’t perform well in the Mid-Season Invitational. As a result, Hybrid was replaced by Alfonso “mithy” Rodriguez. However, he later joined Origen for the Summer Split.

Unfortunately, Origen struggled heavily without their leader in the mid lane, xPeke. Hybrid was stuck in a lane with no synergy, and the team finished the split 2-8-8. They managed to stay in the EU LCS by defeating Misfits in the promotion tournament. Hybrid is now actively looking for a new team before the 2017 Spring Split.

Hybrid will likely be in high demand as many teams that didn’t qualify for Worlds will be looking to revamp their rosters during the break.
