Origen allegedly secures Jactroll from Vitality as Destiny’s replacement in the starting lineup

Origen Acquires Jactroll to Replace Destiny

Origen, currently sitting in fifth place with a 4-5 record in the 2020 LEC Summer Split, is looking to turn their season around with a new addition to the team. According to a report by ESPN, they have acquired Jactroll from Team Vitality to replace support player Destiny.

Destiny, the first player from the Oceanic region to play in the LEC, joined Origen in November. While he has the fifth-highest KDA among LEC supports, his kill participation percentage is the fourth-lowest at 62.1 percent.

Jactroll Joins Origen as Starting Support

Former Team Vitality support Jactroll has joined Origen as their starting support, league sources tell ESPN. He will replace Destiny starting in Week 5 of LEC play.

During the team’s struggles, Destiny and some of his teammates have not been performing well. Origen may be looking for a more experienced European player to boost their performance.

Jactroll, who previously played for Vitality in the 2020 LEC Spring Split, had a difficult season as his team finished last in the regular season. He played 10 games during the split, with no significant improvements seen even after being swapped out for Steeelback in eight games.

Eventually, Vitality decided to introduce 18-year-old Labrov from BIG Clan and a group of younger rookies to their lineup. However, the team is still struggling and currently tied for fifth place in the Summer Split with a 4-5 record.

If the move is confirmed, Jactroll will make his LEC Summer Split debut with Origen this weekend, facing off against Misfits Gaming and G2 Esports.
