A perfect 5-0 record to end the season won’t come easy for TSM. They have challenging matchups against Cloud9, Immortals, 100 Thieves, CLG, and Team Liquid. Even with all victories, TSM would still need specific outcomes from several other teams to avoid a tiebreaker situation.
A Slim Chance for TSM
TSM’s hope of reaching the playoffs without a tiebreaker relies on Evil Geniuses, Golden Guardians, Immortals, and CLG finishing with fewer than six wins each. EG must lose all their remaining games, as they are the only team within the playoff picture with a thin lead. Additionally, Immortals must defeat Golden Guardians and CLG, while CLG, Immortals, and Golden Guardians must lose all their other games. Although this scenario seems unlikely, there is still a tiny possibility. However, if EG defeats Dignitas and C9 defeats TSM, TSM will be the first team to be mathematically eliminated from playoff contention in the LCS.

Considering TSM’s performance this spring, it’s highly likely they will soon be eliminated from playoff contention. Their upcoming matches against the top three teams in the league do not bode well for their chances of victory.
