Only 193 Participants Remain with Perfect Score Following First Semifinals Match of Worlds 2020

League of Legends World Championship: DAMWON Gaming Advances to Finals

DAMWON Gaming emerged victorious in the first semifinals match of the 2020 League of Legends World Championship against G2 Esports. Out of the 230 participants who accurately predicted the tournament up until this stage, only 193 players remain in the running.

This year’s group stage was relatively easier to predict due to the strong teams in each group. However, the knockout stage posed a greater challenge with the varying strengths of each matchup. DWG stood out as the most dominant team in the lower bracket of the knockout stage.

In the Pick’em challenge, hosted annually by Riot Games, participants can make predictions for the World Championship and get a chance to win prizes. Last year, only one fan accurately predicted the entire 2019 World Championship and won all five Ultimate skins as the grand prize.

If any of the 193 participants with perfect scores correctly predict the remaining matches, they will have a shot at winning an Alienware Battlestation. This gaming setup is used by professionals during the World Championship. Even if your Pick’em score isn’t perfect, you can still win Blue Essence, Hextech chests, emotes, and summoner icons.

The World Championship continues tomorrow at 4am CT with the second semifinals match between Top Esports and Suning.
