Only 12 Pick’em participants maintain a perfect score heading into Worlds 2020 finals.

Semifinals of 2020 League of Legends World Championship Conclude with DAMWON Gaming and Suning Emerging Victorious

The semifinal stage of the 2020 League of Legends World Championship came to an end this weekend. DAMWON Gaming defeated G2 Esports while Suning emerged victorious over Top Esports. As the tournament progresses, only 12 Pick’em participants are left with a chance to win an Alienware Battlestation by making perfect predictions throughout the event.

The group stage of the tournament was fairly predictable due to the presence of powerhouse teams in each group. However, the knockout stage proved to be much more challenging. In fact, only one team, DAMWON Gaming, was seen as dominant throughout the knockout stage. This led to thousands of people being eliminated after the first rounds.

Only 12 Participants Remain with Perfect Scores

For every World Championship, Riot Games hosts the Pick’em annual challenge. This challenge allows players to make predictions for the tournament and have a chance to win prizes such as blue essence, summoner icons, Hextech chests, and more. Last year, only one fan correctly predicted the entirety of the 2019 World Championship and won the grand prize of all five Ultimate skins.

This year, if any of the 12 participants who currently have perfect scores correctly predict the final match, they will win an Alienware Battlestation. This is the same PC used by professional players during the Worlds. Participants who did not achieve a perfect score might still have earned other prizes.

Worlds 2020 Finals

The World Championship will conclude on Saturday, Oct. 31 with the finals match between Suning and DAMWON Gaming. Both teams will battle it out for the ultimate title of World Champion.
