One dominant champion takes over 2023 LCS Championship drafts with 100 percent presence

Tristana Dominates the 2023 LCS Championship

The recently concluded 2023 LCS Championship witnessed the explosive impact of the champion Tristana from League of Legends. This champion stood out by being the only pick with a 100 percent presence rate throughout the tournament.

Tristana, known as Runeterra’s favorite Bandle gunner, was a popular choice among players during the 2023 LCS Summer Split in North America. However, she gained even more prominence during the postseason when she was either picked or banned in every match of the championship.

According to stats from Oracle’s Elixir, Tristana was banned in 51 percent of all playoff matches and won 65 percent of her games in the mid lane. Although she was primarily played in the bottom lane, she still won three out of the four matches she participated in.

Tristana’s impact was evident in NRG’s series against Team Liquid, where veteran player Cristian “Palafox” Palafox showcased the champion’s strength. She excelled in teamfights, dominating through strong early laning, and possessing exceptional turret-taking skills.

Tristana’s versatility is apparent both in professional play and solo queue. With her abilities, Explosive Charge passive and active, she can easily push lanes and take down towers. She poses a threat from the beginning by dealing substantial damage to structures. She can also adopt a splitpush strategy for victory in later stages of the game.

Furthermore, Tristana’s ability to reset her Rocket Jump after each kill makes her a lethal force in teamfights. She can swiftly eliminate enemy squishy targets and escape before being locked down by crowd control. This makes her an excellent AD carry to snowball teamfights in favor of her team.

A Versatile AD Carry

Tristana’s compatibility with crowd control also makes her a valuable asset in team compositions. She can synergize well with teammates during pursuits, contributing to the team’s victory. However, it’s important to note that Tristana lacks AP damage and zone control, so team compositions should account for these aspects.

Tristana’s dominance in the 2023 LCS Championship cements her status as a champion to be reckoned with. Her versatility and playstyle have made her a force to be reckoned with both in competitive play and the ranked ladder.
