Official Announcement: Rekkles Becomes a Part of Alliance

Rekkles joins Alliance, ending speculation

Martin “Rekkles” Larsson, one of League of Legends’ young superstars, has officially joined Alliance, putting an end to weeks of speculation about his future.

Alliance reveals new addition

Alliance made the announcement today, confirming the addition of Larsson and ending the rumors surrounding the former Fnatic player.

Rekkles’ journey to Alliance

In October, it was revealed that Larsson had been in contact with Alliance, expressing his unhappiness with the situation at Fnatic. This week, Larsson traveled to America with the Alliance team and will be playing as their fifth player in the upcoming Intel Extreme Masters San Jose event.

Impressive season for Larsson

Larsson had an outstanding Summer season, achieving 167 kills, tying the LCS record for a single split. His impressive 11.26 KDA ranked second all-time.

Alliance’s powerful lineup

The addition of Larsson, who is replacing Erik “TabzZ” van Helvert, adds another superstar to Alliance’s carry positions. Team captain Henrik “Froggen” Hansen and Larsson are expected to make a formidable duo.

Fans will have the opportunity to see Larsson in action with Alliance from Dec. 6-7 in San Jose for IEM, where Alliance will play against the winner of the Cloud9 vs. PaiN Gaming match.
