Andrei “Odoamne” Pascu Calls for More International Tournaments in League of Legends
Professional League of Legends player Andrei “Odoamne” Pascu recently expressed his disappointment with the lack of international tournaments in the game. Following his team Rogue’s early exit from the 2022 World Championship, Odoamne took to Twitter to share his thoughts.

Odoamne expressed his desire for additional international tournaments, remarking that the current schedule with only the Mid-Season Invitational and World Championship is not enough. He highlighted the excitement and energy generated by these events, even when teams are not performing well.
Considering the massive popularity of League of Legends and its devoted fanbase, it’s disheartening to see teams compete on the international stage only once or twice a year. Although there is the Rift Rivals tournament, it lacks the same level of prestige and is not taken seriously by viewers or players due to the absence of significant prizes.
Fortunately, Riot Games has hinted at restructuring the World Championship, providing hope for more international tournaments in the future. This restructuring could potentially offer meaningful rewards and a more frequent competitive environment for the top teams.
