‘Odoamne Shares Personal Insights on His Departure from Rogue’

Andrei “Odoamne” Pascu Leaves Rogue, Opens Up About Former Team

After two successful years with Rogue (now KOI) in the LEC, Andrei “Odoamne” Pascu decided to pursue a better opportunity with Excel. In an interview, Odoamne shared his thoughts on his time with Rogue.

Rogue’s Success on the Surface

Rogue appeared to be thriving as they reached the LEC playoffs and secured their third consecutive spot in the League of Legends World Championship.

“Best Year of My Career”

Odoamne expressed his confusion about his time with Rogue, stating, “It felt really bizarre to me, as I felt my individual performance was the best it has ever been.” He believed that he had worked hard and surpassed his competitors in his role.

Odoamne’s Unrealized Expectations

After spending a decade playing professionally, Odoamne thought he would be Rogue’s first choice. However, he felt misled throughout the year.

Personal Vendetta?

According to Odoamne, the person responsible for roster decisions at Rogue discouraged teams from reaching out to him by spreading false information about his retirement plans. Odoamne perceived this as a personal attack, stating, “It felt like a full-on personal vendetta because the person in charge of this decision didn’t get along with me on a personal level.”

Fortunately, Excel stepped in and signed Odoamne for the 2023 LEC Winter Split.
