When you think of minions in League of Legends, you probably picture small, harmless creatures that serve as a gold source. While this is true, especially as the game progresses, there are moments when minions can surprise us by becoming great allies. A recent Reddit post showcased one such moment of a minion stepping up to save the day.
In the clip shared on Reddit, Nunu and Willump are defending the top lane inhibitor turret using their abilities, with Volibear relentlessly attacking them. Despite their efforts, Nunu and Willump are eventually overwhelmed and fall under their own tower. However, the valiant cannon minion, the lone survivor, takes matters into its own hands. It fires a shot from its cannon, eliminating Volibear and turning the tide in their team’s favor.
While it’s unclear if this play was the deciding factor, the cannon minion’s team ultimately emerged victorious in the game. This heroic moment is worth highlighting as it helped defend the top lane inhibitor, if only temporarily.
