Nisqy set to join MAD Lions for 2022 LEC Summer Split

Nisqy to Join MAD Lions for Summer Split

Former European League of Legends star Nisqy has found a new home for the upcoming Summer Split. According to a report by Upcomer, the 23-year-old is returning to the LEC and joining MAD Lions as their starting mid laner.

If Nisqy joins MAD Lions, he will be replacing the team’s rookie mid laner Steven “Reeker” Chen on the lineup. MAD Lions is making this change in order to shift into win-now mode after a disappointing performance in the spring.

Nisqy last played professionally in 2021 for Fnatic, where he competed in the World Championship. Fnatic released a video showcasing the team’s struggles during the tournament, including Nisqy pouring out his emotions after a tough loss. Following the World Championship, Fnatic revamped their roster by replacing Nisqy and other members.

Similarly, MAD Lions experienced multiple departures during the 2021 offseason, which impacted their performance in their rookie year. Both Reeker and the team’s new AD carry Unforgiven played well despite their lack of experience at the LEC level, but MAD Lions finished with a disappointing 8-10 record.

If Nisqy joins MAD’s roster, he will bring knowledge and experience to the team, helping them strive for success in the upcoming Summer Split.
