Nisqy responds to LoL caster’s blame for MAD Lions MSI defeat

MAD Lions Midlaner Fires Back at Caster, Sparks Controversy

MAD Lions midlaner Yasin “Nisqy” Dinçer responded to League of Legends caster Jaime Mellado on social media after their defeat to T1 in the 2023 Mid-Season Invitational on May 10.

Mellado tweeted a picture showing jungler Javier “Elyoya” Prades Batalla looking sad and Nisqy smiling, suggesting that Nisqy lacked a winner’s attitude.

Nisqy Defends Himself in Heated Exchange

Nisqy reacted strongly, insulting the caster in a now-deleted tweet. He later wrote, “I deleted it, there’s no use in going after an idiot who doesn’t understand anything about competition.”

The League community had mixed reactions, with some players and former coaches supporting Nisqy and others criticizing him for his insult.

“People reacting differently to wins or losses right after is completely normal,” Immortals’ Treatz argued. “All that matters is how the players respond behind the stage and work together.”

MAD Lions’ Future in the Competition

MAD Lions suffered a devastating 0-3 loss against T1 in the MSI series, putting them in the loser’s bracket. Despite the disappointment, they still have a chance to advance by competing against fellow European representative G2 Esports on May 13.

T1, on the other hand, will secure a spot in Round Four if they defeat LCK champions Gen.G. This highly anticipated match is scheduled for May 13.
