Newly found glitch in Akshan’s ultimate ability uncovered during LEC playoff series of MAD and G2

During a crucial game between MAD Lions and G2 Esports in the 2023 LEC Spring Playoffs, a new bug with Akshan’s ultimate ability was discovered. This bug led to league officials chronobreaking the match back to an earlier point in time.

Akshan’s ultimate ability, Comeuppance, is powerful but bullets from it can be blocked by other champions, minions, and structures.

As a result, when Comeuppance targets a player, their own teammates can see the line indicator of the bullets and protect them.

In today’s match, G2’s top laner, Broken Blade, used Akshan’s ultimate to target MAD’s support, Hylissang. Initially, it seemed like the bullets would be blocked by Hylissang’s teammates, but Broken Blade used his Heroic Swing to get a better angle and eliminate his target.

Although it was an impressive play, MAD called for a game pause and a subsequent investigation revealed the bug. Broken Blade had used Heroic Swing while in the fog of war, causing the line indicator to flip to the opposite side.

This led to Hylissang’s teammates blocking the wrong side, resulting in his death. The indicator glitch made it difficult to anticipate where the bullets were coming from. Fortunately, MAD was given a second chance and went on to win the game, tying the series.

MAD and G2 are still competing for a spot in the 2023 LEC Spring Finals and the opportunity to represent Europe in the upcoming 2023 Mid-Season Invitational. Despite this bug, these summoners are determined to reach their goal.
