League of Legends Skins 2019: Project, Arcade, and Star Guardian
Attention, League of Legends fans! Get ready to open your wallets because your favorite skin themes are getting new additions this year. Riot Games’ skins team producer Carlos Giffoni recently announced the return of the Project, Arcade, and Star Guardian themes in a dev diary video.
The Comeback of Beloved Themes
The last time Riot released a skin for the Project, Arcade, or Star Guardian series was in 2017. Unfortunately, there were no new additions in 2018. However, Riot did reveal a set of variant themes for Star Guardian Soraka, Ezreal, Lulu, Lux, and Miss Fortune in November. These pajama-themed skins were a hit among fans and were appropriately called “Pajama Party”.
What to Expect in 2019
Riot has not disclosed which champions will be receiving Arcade, Project, or Star Guardian skins this year, nor have they provided any release dates.
Prestige Edition Skins
Aside from the popular skin themes, Riot also announced that Ahri and Evelynn will be getting prestige edition K/DA skins later this year.
Riot has already released 10 new skins in 2019, including additions to the Blood Moon, Firecracker, and Valentine’s Day themes.
