New League of Legends PBE reveals hints of new Arena Augments, cameos, and items.

League of Legends’ Arena mode was beloved by players and has been greatly missed since it left the live servers. But now, the wait is almost over. The game mode is set to make its return with Patch 13.23 on Tuesday, Nov. 21. And according to a recent PBE data mine by Riot Games, there are some exciting changes and additions in store for players.

Among the data-mined information, it seems that there will be four new champion cameos in the Arena. Thresh and Sylas are confirmed options, while Zilean and Draven may also make an appearance but their inclusion is not certain.

Thresh may have a new mechanic called the Midnight Express, which allows him to circle the map indefinitely. He will periodically toss his lantern to a nearby champion, granting them a small shield and the ability to use the lantern to travel to Thresh’s position. Sylas, on the other hand, will give players access to one other ultimate ability, similar to Ultimate Spellbook.

Zilean will continuously cast Timewarp on all players throughout the match, providing them with increased attack speed, movement speed, ability haste, tenacity, and health regeneration. And Draven’s event is a straightforward four-vs-four deathmatch against two other teams.

There are also some new Augments that are looking very promising. The Prismatic Augments, in particular, are quite powerful. One of them, called Center of the Universe, gives the player Aurelion Sol’s old passive ability with his orbiting stars. Another Augment, called Laser Eyes, grants the player a laser that shoots out in the direction the champion is facing, dealing continuous magic damage per second.

It’s important to note that these additions are still subject to change and may not be included in the final version of the game. However, with all these exciting updates, it’s safe to say that Arena mode will regain its popularity and become one of the most-played modes in League of Legends once again.
