New Champions Coming to League: Introducing a “Hangry Jungler” and “Artistic Mid Laner” Later in the Year

Riot Games Reveals Plans for League of Legends in 2023

Riot Games recently shared its upcoming plans for League of Legends in the first part of 2023. In a video called “LoL Pls,” the company announced exciting new additions to the game, including new skin lines, champion updates, and additions to the Rift. Two new champions, Milio and Naafiri, will be making their appearances on the Rift this year.

New Champions Teased

During the video, Lexi Gao, the product lead for champions at Riot, briefly teased two new additions to League’s champion pool. While not much information has been revealed about these mysterious champions, players can gather some details from their teaser images.

“Hangry Jungler” and “Artistic Mid Laner”

One of the champions, described as a “hangry jungler,” is associated with a vampire castle with a dark and foreboding appearance. This link suggests a connection to Vladimir, the fiend from Noxus known for his thirst for blood. The castle’s location in the rocky outskirts of the Immortal Bastion further supports this theory.

The second champion, an artistic mage, is expected to dominate the mid lane using their talent with ink. While not confirmed, the tower depicted in their teaser image appears to be in Ionia. The serene and peaceful atmosphere surrounding the building indicates that this champion may hail from the First Land.

Awaited News and Meet Milio and Naafiri

Players will have to wait for more official news about these two champions, as they are set to be released in 2023. In the meantime, players can look forward to encountering Milio and Naafiri on the Rift soon.
