The Blood Moon Event: New League of Legends Skins Added
The Blood Moon event in League of Legends is an annual tradition that brings new skins to the game. This year, Riot has revealed the new skins by adding them to the Public Beta Environment (PBE).
New Skins for Pyke, Aatrox, and Sivir
Pyke, Aatrox, and Sivir are the champions receiving new skins this year. This skin is Pyke’s first since his release in the spring and Aatrox’s first since his update this summer. However, all of Aatrox’s older skins were also redesigned for the update, so they don’t count as brand new.
Interesting Changes to Aatrox’s Skin
Aatrox’s skin is quite interesting as it replaces the Darkin demon with a Blood Moon version, retaining most of his human features. If you’ve ever wondered what a human Aatrox with flowing white hair would look like, this skin shows just that. Aatrox is also receiving a Prestige variant, which is likely earned by participating in the annual Blood Moon event and earning event tokens.
