Negotiations underway as Flash Wolves’ Moojin, Maple, and SwordArt explore new opportunities

Flash Wolves’ reign in the LMS may be in jeopardy as their players enter negotiations with other teams. In a Facebook update, Flash Wolves announced that coaches WarHorse and REFRA1N have left the team, and top laner MMD has chosen to retire to focus on streaming. Morning, the substitute jungler, has taken on a coaching role. While not officially departing, Moojin, Maple, and SwordArt are currently in talks with other teams.

It’s likely that Moojin, Maple, and SwordArt will join China’s LPL, given their fluency in Mandarin. However, there’s a chance that NA or EU LCS teams may be interested in acquiring these players. Additionally, since Moojin is a Korean import, there’s a possibility of him joining the LCK next year.

If Moojin, Maple, and SwordArt leave for the LPL, they will follow in the footsteps of former Flash Wolves jungler Karsa, who joined Royal Never Give Up in 2018 and led them to multiple victories. Flash Wolves have been the dominant team in the LMS, winning six consecutive titles since their first domestic win in 2016.

As of now, it is unknown whether AD carry Betty will sign with Flash Wolves for the upcoming season.
