Naafiri’s LoL players raise questions about unfair advantage possessed by their dogs

Naafiri: The Durable Champion in League of Legends

In the world of League of Legends, a new champion has emerged: Naafiri. She brings with her a unique advantage – her summoned dogs are incredibly durable compared to other summoned creatures. This leaves players wondering why this is the case.

Naafiri’s Dominance in the Mid Lane

According to U.GG, Naafiri boasts an impressive 52.98 percent win rate in the mid lane. Her versatility and powerful passive ability, known as “We are More,” make her a formidable force in this position. Naafiri has the ability to summon a pack of dogs to attack her targets, but the issue lies in the fact that these dogs are exceptionally strong.

Compared to other summonings like Yorick’s Ghouls, Elise’s spiders, Zyra’s plants, or Malzahar’s Voidlings, Naafiri’s dogs are much more durable and require significantly more effort to destroy.

In addition to their durability, Naafiri’s dogs do not cost any mana to summon, which many players believe to be the biggest issue. It feels like a cheat code for Naafiri players and poses a particularly oppressive force for her enemies on the Rift.

Reasons for the Durability

Players speculate that the durability imbalance is simply an issue with game balance, where newer champions and their abilities tend to be stronger than older ones. There is no standard set for these creatures, making it difficult to achieve balance.

However, others argue that these creations have such distinct functions and uses that a standard cannot be established for them. Due to Naafiri’s passive summoning of dogs, they are less reliable and will only appear once the passive requirements are met. As a result, they need to be somewhat durable to fulfill their purpose.

Conclusion: A Pack of Oppression

Playing against Naafiri can be an oppressive experience due to the relentless pack of dogs. However, playing as Naafiri in the mid lane in Patch 13.16 feels incredibly rewarding.
