NA Week 3 Fantasy LCS Recap

Choosing the Best Esports Lineup for Fantasy LCS

I’m sharing my strategy for putting together a winning fantasy LCS lineup, starting with analyzing the betting lines for the games. While the lines may not always be accurate, they do give a good indication of the chances of each team winning.

It’s important to note that AlphaDraft includes both Saturday and Sunday games in their contests, while Vulcun runs separate contests for each day.

The favored teams for both days are TSM, CLG, TL, and C9. Since Cloud 9 tends to win without scoring high fantasy points, I will focus on players from the other three teams. Since CLG isn’t as heavily favored, I will be building my AlphaDraft teams around TSM and Team Liquid players.

Strategies for Saturday’s Games

On Vulcun, I noticed a pricing flaw that allows me to pick players who missed games at a lower price. I take advantage of this to select Piglet and ZionSpartan at a bargain. I also want to have a maximum of three TSM players, so I choose Bjergsen, WildTurtle, and Santorin. With the remaining budget, I pick IWillDominate, Link, and Aphromoo. My lineup is well-suited for tournaments or contests with balanced prize structures.

Predicting Sunday’s Matches

For Sunday’s games, I check the latest odds to get a more informed view. Team Liquid, Cloud 9, TSM, and CLG are the favored teams. Winterfox also has playable players. Lower-priced players like Piglet, ZionSpartan, and Altec stand out as mispriced value picks. Based on the matchups and scoring averages, I choose my lineup accordingly.

Overall, I had a very profitable weekend, making money in most contests on Vulcun. On AlphaDraft, I didn’t perform as well due to Team Liquid’s weak performance.
