The Fourth Week of the NA LCS Summer Split 2016
The North American League Championship Series (NA LCS) wrapped up its fourth week of action, and we have updated our power rankings accordingly.
About the Power Rankings
The rankings are determined by the votes of our GAMURS staff members. Each member ranks the top 10 teams, with first place receiving 10 points and tenth place receiving one point. The rankings are updated weekly based on the teams’ performance.
Here are the power rankings for the fifth week of the NA LCS:
1. Team SoloMid (70 total points – 7 first place votes): No change
TSM had a close series against Echo Fox but managed to come out on top. They also crushed EnVyUs without breaking a sweat. TSM remains the top team in our power rankings.
2. Immortals (62 total points): +1
Immortals defeated Counter Logic Gaming and Team Liquid, solidifying their spot at number two.
3. Cloud9 (56 total points): +1
Cloud9 continues to impress, winning against both EnVyUs and NRG eSports.
4. Team EnVyUs (51 total points): -2
EnVyUs had a rough week, losing to both TSM and Cloud9.
5. Team Liquid (39 total points): +1
Liquid went 1-1 for the week, defeating Apex Gaming and losing to Immortals.
6. Counter Logic Gaming (36 total points): +1
CLG had a mixed week, losing to Immortals but defeating Phoenix1.
7. Apex Gaming (31 total points): -2
Apex Gaming suffered defeats against Liquid and Echo Fox, causing them to fall in the rankings.
8. Echo Fox (20 total points): +1
Echo Fox had a tough week, losing to TSM and Apex Gaming, but managed to move up a spot in our rankings.
9. NRG eSports (15 total points): -1
NRG eSports won a series against Phoenix1 but got swept by Cloud9, dropping them to the ninth spot.
10. Phoenix1 (7 total points): No change
Phoenix1 remains at the bottom of the power rankings after losing to NRG and CLG.
