Mystic rejoins South Korea, becoming part of LCK roster Afreeca Freecs

Afreeca Freecs Signs Mystic as New AD Carry

Afreeca Freecs, a team in the LCK, has made a significant roster change by signing Jin “Mystic” Seong-Jun as their new AD Carry. Mystic joins the team to replace Kim “Aiming” Ha-Ram, who recently moved to T1.

In 2014, Mystic left South Korea to join the Chinese side WE Academy. He steadily made progress in his career, first joining Team WE as a substitute and then becoming a part of the starting roster in March 2015.

By joining Afreeca Freecs, Mystic is returning to his home country and reuniting with his wife and son. The team finished fifth in both the LCK Spring and Summer Splits. Although they made it to Worlds in 2018, they narrowly missed out on qualifying for the second World Championship spot after losing to Kingzone in the Regional Finals.

The official announcement of Mystic joining Afreeca Freecs was made on the team’s Twitter account, where they called for fans to show their support for the new AD Carry.

Along with the addition of Mystic, Afreeca Freecs has made another change to their roster by signing Song “Fly” Yong-Jun, who will be replacing Ucal in the midlane position.
