Mundo, a League of Legends player, boldly frontdoors enemy Nexus while tanking 4 opponents

Dr. Mundo Takes on the Enemy Base in League of Legends

Dr. Mundo, the Madman of Zaun, proved his tankiness in a recent League of Legends match. A player shared a video on Reddit showcasing Mundo’s ability to withstand four opponents while attacking the enemy base.

Mundo’s Unconventional Approach

In a game dominated by the “backdoor” strategy, where players sneak into the enemy base, Mundo took a different approach. He charged straight into the enemy base, ignoring his opponents, and focused on attacking the Nexus. At level 17 and almost 30 minutes into the match, Mundo was incredibly tanky. With the Grasp of the Undying rune, which grants bonus health when attacking a champion, Mundo accumulated over 5,200 health.

Opponents Fought Back

The enemy team made an effort to retaliate. They equipped items that inflict Grievous Wounds, reducing healing received, and Blade of the Ruined King, which deals damage based on a percentage of the target’s health. However, Mundo quickly regenerated his health by using his ultimate ability, allowing him to defeat the opponents and destroy the Nexus.

The Changing Landscape of League of Legends

As season 10 of League of Legends approaches on Jan. 8, the game’s meta is experiencing interesting changes. Champions have become more versatile and flexible, capable of playing multiple roles. It will be exciting to see how the upcoming season affects the gameplay.
