League of Legends Patch 13.10: Kha’Zix on the Rise as the Dominating Jungler
In recent patches, League of Legends players have had to adapt to several revamped items in the store, resulting in a shake-up of the meta for different roles. Additionally, there are a few champions who have become dominant in solo queue, emerging as top picks on Summoner’s Rift.
One particular champion has been causing frustration among high-rank players in solo queue due to his ability to find isolated opponents and easily take them down.
Since Patch 13.10, Kha’Zix has rapidly climbed the ranks as the most-played and most-banned jungler in the game. Among Platinum ranked players and higher, Kha’Zix boasts an impressive pick rate of 18.7%, a staggering ban rate of 48.6%, and a commendable win rate of 52.2%, according to League stats website Oracle’s Elixir.

These numbers have significantly increased compared to previous patches, where Kha’Zix had a mere pick rate of 5.8% and was only banned in 2% of matches. However, with his rising dominance in the jungle role, players have started choosing to ban him altogether rather than face the challenge of dealing with him in-game.
Kha’Zix had already gained attention when buffs to his Q ability, Taste Their Fear, in April’s Patch 13.8, resulted in a spike in his effectiveness. With the introduction of new assassin items in the latest patch, Kha’Zix now has an additional terrifying tool in his arsenal – the newly-introduced Mythic item, Youmuu’s Ghostblade.
Youmuu’s Ghostblade not only grants Kha’Zix superior movement speed to chase down fleeing enemies, but it also allows him to swiftly move to side lanes for dives or ganks. The added lethality from Youmuu’s Haunt passive further amplifies Kha’Zix’s burst damage, making him an even greater threat to squishy targets who are simply trying to farm.
With Kha’Zix’s rise to power and the impact of the new items, the League of Legends meta is experiencing significant changes. Players must adapt their strategies in order to keep up with these developments on the Rift.
