Mordekaiser player discovers Nasus’ ultimate counter

Clever Technique: Countering Nasus as Mordekaiser in League of Legends

Playing against certain champions in League of Legends can be incredibly frustrating. Take champions like Nasus, for instance, who can quickly turn a fun game into a real headache. However, a clever Mordekaiser player seems to have found the perfect solution to dealing with Nasus.

Nasus becomes unbearable in the late game due to the scaling on his Siphoning Strike (Q). Each time Nasus slays an enemy with this ability, its damage increases. When Siphoning Strike is stacked up, it can eliminate squishy targets in just two hits and neutral objectives in seconds. But fear not, every champion has a counter, and Mordekaiser may just be the answer.

Mordekaiser is known for his ultimate ability, which allows him to drag an enemy into the Death Realm where he and the targeted opponent battle it out. During this duel, no other champions or monsters can interfere for a few seconds.

In a clip shared on the League of Legends subreddit by Lobsterbuffet100, a Mordekaiser player showcases a truly inventive use of his ultimate ability. Whenever there was a huge minion wave crashing under Nasus’ turret, ready for him to farm and stack his Siphoning Strike, Mordekaiser would use his ultimate on Nasus, preventing him from eliminating minions and collecting stacks on his Q.

Although this tactic may seem smart, it’s not the most optimal way to use Mordekaiser’s ultimate, which is much more effective in teamfights. Nevertheless, Mordekaiser remains one of the top laners in League of Legends, currently boasting a 52.04 percent win ratio, according to u.gg. Nasus, on the other hand, sits at a 50.25 percent win rate.
