Misfits Stays Undefeated with Win Over ROCCAT
Misfits has extended their unbeaten streak to 9-0 in the EU LCS after securing a victory against ROCCAT.
Despite holding a significant early lead, Misfits faced challenges in clinching the win.
A Cold, Calm, and Calculated Start
In true Misfits fashion, the game started off slowly and methodically. Although ROCCAT put up a fight, Misfits dominated the map. With only three kills, Misfits managed to take down three towers and accumulate a substantial gold lead over ROCCAT. However, things took a turn.
Adapting to the Situation
Misfits realized that their team had difficulty sieging towers, while ROCCAT excelled at defending against pushes. The inhibitory towers proved to be a challenge for Misfits, forcing them to rethink their strategy.
Taking Risks and Coming out on Top
Thinking on their feet, Misfits decided to take more risks to lure ROCCAT into fights. They attempted a Baron play during the mid-game and engaged in skirmishes with ROCCAT despite the absence of any strategic advantage. Although some of these gambles failed, Misfits turned the tide with a crucial Yasuo ultimate by mid laner Chres “Sencux” Laursen, securing a key victory and ultimately ending the game in their favor.
