Misfits Make Roster Changes: Febiven Benched, LIDER Steps in as Starter against Schalke

Misfits Make Roster Changes in LEC Summer Split

Misfits have made some roster changes for the 2019 LEC Summer Split in an effort to improve their performance. Nubar “Maxlore” Sarafian and Fabian “Febiven” Diepstraten have been benched, and Thomas “Kirei” Yuen and Adam “LIDER” Ilyasov have been brought in to the starting lineup.

When Misfits’ roster was put together, many expected them to be a strong team in the LEC. However, they have struggled throughout the year, finishing in eighth place last split and continuing to struggle this split.

Misfits recently suffered a defeat against SK Gaming and have only managed to secure wins against lower-ranked teams. The team is facing significant synergy issues which have been evident in their matches.

As a result, the organization has decided to bring in LIDER, a talented 19-year-old mid laner, to see if his inclusion can have a positive impact on the team and its fans. LIDER previously helped Misfits’ Academy team win the spring European Masters championship and was awarded three MVP titles.

With a match against Schalke 04 coming up, Misfits need to find their footing to avoid slipping further down the standings. The match between Misfits and Schalke will take place on Saturday, June 22 at 11am CT.
