Misfits Gaming renews contract with Dan Dan for top laner position

Danny “Dan Dan” Le Comte Staying with Misfits Gaming as Starting Top Laner for 2020

Danny “Dan Dan” Le Comte will continue his journey with Misfits Gaming throughout the 2020 season of League of Legends. This time, he will be starting as the team’s top laner.

Success in the National League

Last year, Dan Dan primarily played for Misfits’ Academy roster in France’s national league. The Academy had a successful 2019, reaching the LFL season finals and emerging as champions of the Spring European Masters.

Improvements in the Main Roster

The main Misfits roster faced challenges throughout 2019, finishing in eighth place with an 8-10 record in the spring split. Their performance worsened in the summer, leading to the release of most of the players. The entire Misfits Premier roster was promoted to the LEC.

Despite a ninth-place finish, the new lineup showed promise when they subbed in players during week six of the 2019 Summer Split. It provided valuable experience on the big stage alongside some of Europe’s best players.

A Promising Future for Dan Dan

Although Dan Dan’s debut in the LEC didn’t yield impressive stats, he only played 10 games during the season. Given the opportunity, he has the potential to become a valuable asset for the Misfits squad in the upcoming 2020 season.
