Misfits Defeat Vitality to Hand Them Their First Loss of the 2018 EU LCS Spring Split

Misfits Defeat Team Vitality to Create a Four-Way Tie in EU LCS Standings

Misfits have emerged victorious over Team Vitality, resulting in a four-way tie at the top of the EU LCS standings.

Vitality’s Undefeated Streak Comes to an End

Team Vitality, previously the only undefeated team in the EU LCS, started the match with a perfect record and high hopes for their continued success in week three.

Jiizuke Leads Vitality, but Mistakes Prove Costly

Daniele “Jiizuke” di Mauro, a standout mid laner and rookie, showcased his skills once again, leading Vitality to an early advantage through dominant performances.

However, Vitality’s overconfidence led them to make several sloppy mistakes as the game progressed. In a crucial moment, Jisuke put the enemy Kha’Zix to sleep in the Baron pit, but Vitality forgot that Misfits’ jungler could still use his Smite.

Misfits Capitalize on Vitality’s Mistake

This oversight proved to be the turning point of the match, as Misfits seized the opportunity to secure the Baron and shift the momentum in their favor. Exploiting the ensuing mistakes made by Vitality, Misfits continuously secured kills and objectives, ultimately defeating their opponents.

As a result of this victory, Misfits, Vitality, Giants, and ROCCAT are all currently tied for first place in the EU LCS.

Vitality will have the chance to bounce back in their next match against Schalke 04 on Feb. 2. Meanwhile, Misfits will face off against Fnatic on the same day, a matchup that has the potential to define the season for both powerhouse organizations.
