Misfits complete their lineup by signing KaKAO

Korean Jungler KaKAO Joins Misfits for EU LCS Debut

Misfits, the new team in the European LCS, has secured the services of Korean jungler Lee “KaKAO” Byung-kwon for the upcoming 2017 season.

KaKAO joins a strong starting lineup which includes Barney “Alphari” Morris, Tristan “PowerOfEvil” Schrage, Steven “Hans sama” Liv, and Lee “IgNar” Dong-geun.

A Rising Star in Korea, a Journey in China, and a New Beginning in Europe

KaKAO rose to prominence in Korea while playing for KT Rolster. His talent and skills were noticed, leading to his move to Invictus Gaming in China’s LPL in 2014. KaKAO’s time in Invictus Gaming saw the team make it to the playoffs in both 2015 splits.

However, KaKAO eventually left Invictus Gaming and moved to China’s second division, the LSPL. Playing for teams like Wan Yoo and WYDream, he faced challenges of relegation and struggled to gain recognition.

Misfits Ready to Take on the LCS

With KaKAO now joining the Misfits roster, the team is fully prepared for their first season in the LCS. The organization went through the Summer EUCS qualifiers, formerly known as Renegades Banditos, and performed exceptionally well in the Challenger Series, finishing in first place in both the regular season and the playoffs.

In conclusion, KaKAO’s addition to the Misfits lineup brings a wealth of experience and talent. Fans can now look forward to seeing Misfits compete in the upcoming European LCS season.
