It’s been over a year since Milio hit League of Legend‘s live servers, but now, the Gentle Flame is finally getting a new skin—and there’s a lot more splashing involved for someone who uses fire on a daily basis.
Milio will join Fizz in League’s Rain Shepherd skin universe, where the two will hop around lily pads while dancing in a downpour wearing stunning rain-based cosmetics. Unlike some recent skin releases, this line is adorable, tranquil, and downright warm, complete with rain and nature noises.
Fizz’s aesthetic complements the blues and greens of his Rain Shepherd skin, as he zips around with splashes galore and summons a large frog with a light blue waistcoat and bucket hat for his ultimate ability. When he recalls, the rain begins to pour harder, causing him to open an umbrella and jump around with his little frog pals.
Milio, on the other hand, has abandoned his signature flaming coloring in favor of some calmer blues and greens of his own. Instead of using his soothing flame to heal his teammates, Milio will use calming rain to safeguard his comrades on the battlefield, whether he is casting his Warm Hugs shield or healing them with Cozy Campfire.
Instead of a fire, Milio carries a small frog in his backpack, and during his recall animation, he gleefully splashes around in the rain before three large frogs emerge from his backpack to join in the fun. This is Milio’s first skin since his release in 2023, his second skin overall after his Faerie Court skin, and the first skin to completely flip is original aesthetic with fire to water.
