Meteos to temporarily replace Inori on Phoenix1

P1 Recruits Meteos as Replacement for Inori in NA LCS Week Five

William “Meteos” Hartman, former Cloud9 jungler, will step in for Rami “Inori” Charagh on the active roster of Phoenix1 in week five of the North American League Championship Series (NA LCS), the organization announced today. This decision comes as a result of Inori returning to Vancouver to attend to a personal matter.

Meteos’ Chance for Redemption

Meteos has not competed in League of Legends since the 2016 World Championship, where he faced criticism for his performance and was eventually replaced by Juan “Contractz” Arturo Garcia on Cloud9. This week, Meteos will have the opportunity to prove himself as Phoenix1 faces his former team on Sunday, Feb. 19.

EDIT (5:00 p.m. EST): According to a report on theScore, Meteos has officially been traded to Phoenix1. Riot confirmed that Phoenix1 has acquired Meteos’s contract from C9. More details will be added as they become available.
