Disappointing Start for 100 Thieves in the LCS Summer Split
Many fans of 100 Thieves’ League of Legends team were left disappointed with their performance during the opening weekend of the LCS Summer Split. The team struggled to find success and their stats reflected this.
Veteran jungler Meteos and mid laner Ryoma, in particular, had a tough start and currently sit at the bottom of the league leaderboard in terms of KDA and kills.
After one week, Meteos and Ryoma have only secured two kills each, but Meteos has accumulated 12 deaths, while Ryoma has 10 deaths after two games. It’s important to note that 100 Thieves faced off against two strong rosters in Evil Geniuses and Cloud9.
Unfortunately, in both matches, 100 Thieves were completely overwhelmed. Evil Geniuses dominated with 20 kills, with a significant contribution from mid laner Jiizuke, who earned Player of the Week honors. Cloud9 also had a convincing win, with 100 Thieves only managing to secure one tower and two kills in a 25-minute loss.
Despite the rough start, 100 Thieves fans shouldn’t be too concerned. The team will have the opportunity to bounce back in week two when they face Team Liquid and Immortals. The next LCS matches are set to begin on Friday, June 19.
