Vietnamese Teams’ Dynamic Strategies Shine at International Events
Vietnamese teams have gained recognition in the esports world for their fast-paced, aggressive, and innovative strategies showcased at international events. The trend was initiated a few years ago by GIGABYTE Marines, who introduced strategies like the Nocturne funnel.
Phong Vũ Buffalo’s Unconventional Playstyle
Playing on their home ground as this year’s Vietnamese representative, Phong Vũ Buffalo has distinguished themselves as a thrilling team to watch. With Kayn under control, Clid shifted focus to the mid lane, where he and Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok dominated the game. SKT executed successful dives, ganks, and counterganks, quickly establishing a significant 10,000 gold lead before Baron even spawned.
This prevented PVB from reaching crucial power spikes, particularly the Kayn transformation. While Kayn is a formidable champion when ahead, playing from behind is extremely challenging. SKT easily secured a victory and qualified for the playoffs alongside Invictus Gaming and G2.
