SK Telecom T1 emerged victorious, securing a smooth win against their Chinese opponents. This was a redemption for the former world champions, Faker and bengi, who have previous experience at the international stage.

During the draft phase, SK Telecom dominated with solid counter-picks. Faker chose the tanky mage, Ryze and top-laner MaRin showcased his remarkable skills with Renekton. Although they allowed EDward Gaming to take Darius, MaRin quickly shut down the opponent’s top-laner, AmazingJ.

The key to SK Telecom’s victory was the exceptional performance of MaRin. Due to a small error made by EDward Gaming in the opening minutes, MaRin gained a farm advantage and used it to dominate the Chinese team in every fight. His offensive item purchases, such as Tiamat, enabled him to secure more kills and shut down the enemy AD carry, Deft.

SK Telecom T1 demonstrated their dominance in teamfights and closed out the game clean at the 35-minute mark. This victory not only served as revenge for their previous loss at MSI but also put them in a favorable position to advance as the top seed in Group C. This could prove to be crucial in the later stages of the tournament, as the group winners will not have to face another group’s top seed in the quarterfinals.
