MAD Lions welcomes the return of Nisqy

Yasin “Nisqy” Dinçer Returns to LEC with MAD Lions

Yasin “Nisqy” Dinçer, a 23-year-old mid laner, has officially signed with MAD Lions for the upcoming 2022 LEC Summer Split. He will be replacing Steven “Reeker” Che, who recently joined LFL team BDS Academy on May 4.

Nisqy’s Break from European Competition

After a disappointing performance at last year’s League of Legends World Championship with Fnatic, Nisqy took a break from the European competition. In December 2021, he moved to a substitute position and was unable to find a new team for the 2022 season.

Nisqy Joins MAD Lions

Following a lackluster split with his previous team, Nisqy has joined MAD Lions. The team had to let go of Marek “Humanoid” Brázda and Matyáš “Carzzy” Orság in 2021, which resulted in their failure to qualify for the 2022 LEC Spring playoffs. With an 8-10 record, MAD Lions finished in seventh place in the league, a stark contrast to their success in the previous year.

MAD Lions’ Hopes for the Summer Split

With the addition of Nisqy, a veteran mid laner with years of experience, MAD Lions aim to bounce back in the Summer Split. The team had a challenging offseason with the inclusion of rookies Reeker and William “UNF0RGIVEN” Nieminen, which impacted their chances of success in the LEC.

The 2022 LEC Summer Split is set to begin on June 17 after the conclusion of the Mid-Season Invitation, as confirmed by Riot.
