LS’s team unable to participate in the Tyler1 Championship Series due to visa complications

Nick “LS” De Cesare’s League of Legends Team Withdraws from 2019 Tyler1 Championship Series Due to Visa Issues

Streamer and caster Nick “LS” De Cesare has announced that his League of Legends team will not be able to participate in the 2019 Tyler1 Championship Series. This unfortunate decision is a result of visa problems faced by two of his players.

According to LS, one of his players encountered difficulties in obtaining a visa to the United States. Additionally, AD carry Oh “MyeongJin” Myeong-jin was still waiting for his own visa to enter the country after being picked up by CLG’s Academy team.

LS took to Twitter to explain the situation, stating that they couldn’t attend the tournament because of the visa issues. MyeongJin joined CLG, and as a result, he is waiting for his visa to enter the United States. Moreover, the Korean players did not want to be separated by having some members compete in Canada or Mexico.

The team explored the possibility of playing from Korea with high ping, but they deemed it unfair and not worth their time.

LS’ League team consisted of former bbq Olivers players Heo “Heokong” Seong-joo, Sebastian “Malice” Edholm, Jeong “autumn” Soo-hwan, MyeongJin, and current Rogue Esports Club mid laner, Marcin “Selfie” Wolski.

Some fans wondered why the team couldn’t compete from Canada or Mexico. LS clarified that finding accommodation for all six members on short notice would be impossible, and arranging new plane tickets right before the tournament would be inconvenient.

Instead, LS revealed that the team would be competing in the Korean Challengers qualifier, which presents an even greater opportunity for the roster if they emerge victorious.
