LPL Week 5 Day 1: We1less Explores Anivia’s Potential and Team Composition Significance

Welcome back! LGD’s Mid-Laner We1less Discusses Their 2-0 Victory

Interviewer: Hello We1less! How are you feeling after securing a 2-0 victory today?

We1less: Hi there!

Interviewer: Please say hi to everyone!

We1less: Hi everyone! I’m We1less, LGD’s mid-laner.

Interviewer: First of all, congratulations on your victory. The games were amazing to watch! Can you briefly talk about the first game and your team composition?

We1less: Acorn chose Kennen to counter Gnar, and I played as Lissandra, who is currently very strong. Our bot-lane composition also worked well, even though we hadn’t practiced it before.

Interviewer: So you didn’t practice this composition in scrims either?

We1less: That’s correct.

Interviewer: But despite that, you had great results!

We1less: Yes, when you dismantle the opponent’s composition, it becomes very difficult for them to fight back.

Interviewer: There was a great moment where you dodged Xerath’s ultimate. Fans on Weibo praised your skills. Can you tell us more about that game? In the second game, you chose Anivia. What led to that decision?

We1less: Most of my champion pool was banned, so I had no other choice.

Interviewer: So it was because of that? You were targeted by the enemy team.

We1less: Yes, VG seemed to understand our playstyle. They banned my Zed, Ahri, and Kassadin.

Interviewer: It seems like they were really targeting you!

We1less: And then they picked Leblanc, so I had to think of a counter-pick. I realized their composition lacked escapes for their ADC and support, so I chose Anivia to capitalize on that weakness.

Interviewer: Did you practice Anivia in scrims?

We1less: Sometimes, I do.

Interviewer: How do you feel about your performance on Anivia today?

We1less: I did alright, although I think I could have used Anivia’s W better.

Interviewer: It seemed like you used some uncommon champions in the second game, but the results were good.

We1less: Yes, we didn’t expect this to happen either.

Interviewer: Last week, LGD’s performance wasn’t great. What did you do after the games? Did you hold a team meeting?

We1less: Yes, we lost both of our best of twos last week, and we were disappointed. The team atmosphere wasn’t good. We used this week to address our concerns and understand our mistakes from last week. As a result, we became a lot stronger.

Interviewer: After making these changes, your team performed really well today. The games were played beautifully. We hope you can continue this success in the future.

We1less: Yes!

Interviewer: Thank you, We1less, for the interview. Let’s celebrate LGD’s 2-0 victory once again!
