LoL streamer Yassuo secures contract with Kick, joining ranks of Twitch sensations

100 Thieves Content Creator Yassuo Begins Streaming on Kick

On June 10 at 3pm CT, Moe “Yassuo” Abdalrhman, a content creator for 100 Thieves, will start streaming on the new platform Kick. Yassuo signed a deal with Kick to bring his content to their platform.

Kick has been securing the services of several content creators, including xQc and chess grandmaster Hikaru Nakamura, with non-exclusivity deals. Yassuo, with over 2 million followers on Twitch, will stream on the platform before transitioning to Kick.

Yassuo has been a part of 100 Thieves since August 2019 and gained popularity as a League of Legends streamer. However, he has also diversified his content and plans to stream the dating app Tinder on Kick.

Kick is offering substantial financial incentives to entice well-known Twitch streamers to join their platform. For example, xQc is reportedly receiving $100 million for his deal with Kick, as reported by the New York Times. The amount Yassuo was paid remains unknown.

It’s worth noting that Kick’s Terms of Services (ToS) are less restrictive than Twitch’s, allowing creators to stream gambling content and offering a 95% revenue share in favor of the streamers. This makes Kick an attractive option for content creators.

Yassuo streams on Twitch from Monday to Friday starting at 12pm CT. He plans to stream on both Twitch and Kick, with the majority of his content being on Kick as of June 10.
