LoL Players Express Dissatisfaction with Declining Skin Quality: A Comparison between Old and New Cosmetics

League of Legends Players Not Happy with the Quality of New Champion Skins

League of Legends players are expressing their dissatisfaction with the declining quality of newer champion skins. They believe that recent releases are not as good as those from the past. This can be attributed to the increasing cost of RP, less unique designs, and a focus on quantity rather than quality. As a result, players feel like they are not getting their money’s worth.

Aurelion Sol’s Skins Highlight the Issue

One fan’s post on the League subreddit has sparked a discussion about this issue. The post compared the texture quality and level of detail in the skins for Aurelion Sol, a popular champion in the game. Unlike other characters, Aurelion Sol had limited cosmetic options with only a few Standard or Epic-grade skins available. However, the release of the Porcelain collection in 2024 introduced Aurelion Sol’s first Legendary skin. Unfortunately, the end result did not meet players’ expectations.
