LoL jungler maintains dominance even after 13.16 nerfs for fifth consecutive patch

Rek’Sai Dominates the Jungle with High Win Rate

In the world of League of Legends, some champions manage to maintain their dominance despite continuous nerfs. One such champion is Rek’Sai, who has remained on top of the jungle rankings for the past few months.

Even though Rek’Sai received minor nerfs to her Q ability in Patch 13.16, aimed at reducing her presence in solo queue, it hasn’t affected her win rate. She still holds a staggering 52.48 percent win rate, which is the highest among junglers in Platinum and above.

Rek’Sai’s reign as the strongest jungler has been consistent for several patches now. In fact, in the previous four patches, she had the highest win rate in the role for Platinum and above players, except in Patch 13.14 where she placed second.

The game developers themselves have acknowledged Rek’Sai’s overpowering early game strength and have been attempting to balance her without rendering her unplayable.

Rek’Sai’s kit underwent a complete overhaul in Patch 13.11, with each of her abilities adjusted to fit the current meta. The developers worked to enhance her win rates while maintaining her identity as a champion.

However, it remains to be seen if Rek’Sai’s dominance in solo queue will translate to success in competitive play. Thus far, she has had no presence in the 2023 LCK Summer Playoffs and 2023 LCS Championship, according to the stats site Oracle’s Elixir.
