LNG Esports Completes Roster for 2020 LPL Season

Snake Esports, now known as LNG Esports, has finalized its roster for the upcoming 2020 LPL season. The team has added former Flash Wolves mid laner Huang “Maple” Yi-Yang and former Top Esports jungler Xiong “Xx” Yu-Long.

Xx, who played for Top Esports last year, will replace LNG’s previous jungler Lê “SofM” Quang Duy, who left the team in November. Xx and Top Esports came close to qualifying for the 2019 League of Legends World Championship but fell short in a 2-3 loss to Invictus Gaming in the LPL’s regional qualifier.

LNG also acquired former Flash Wolves mid laner Huang “Maple” Yi-Yang, who recently played for Suning in the Chinese League of Legends region. Maple, who joined Flash Wolves in 2013, has led the team to multiple World Championship appearances.

LNG’s Aspirations for 2020

In the 2019 LPL Summer Split, LNG finished in seventh place. The team has parted ways with its previous mid laner Huang “Fenfen” Chen and signed on Maple and Xx in hopes of achieving a more successful year in 2020.
