Live on the PBE: Lucian receives buffs

Lucian Buffs Arrive on the PBE for Testing

Players who main ADC (Attack Damage Carry) champions have a reason to celebrate as Lucian receives buffs on the Public Beta Environment (PBE). The PBE serves as a testing ground for upcoming patches, which means that the official changes for Lucian might be revealed soon. This news brings hope to ADCs who have been struggling to perform well in the current meta.

Details of the Buffs

Andrei “Meddler” van Roon, Riot’s lead champion designer, has shared the details of the buffs. The changes include:

  • The cast time for Lucian’s Q ability scales from 0.4s down to 0.25s as he levels up, compared to the previous fixed cast time of 0.35s.
  • The cast time for Lucian’s W ability is now the standard/default 0.25s instead of 0.35s.
  • The post-cast lock on both Q and W can now be consistently overridden by other actions such as attacks, movement, and spell casts. This eliminates the need for multiple clicks to change targets or perform consecutive actions.

These buffs primarily focus on improving Lucian’s cast times and overall reliability on Summoner’s Rift, the main map for League of Legends matches.

Temporary Changes, Exciting Future

It is important to note that these buffs are not guaranteed to remain as they currently are. They are subject to change before the official patch is released. However, Lucian mains can still be excited about the potential buff to their favorite champion.
