Liquid and TSM strengthen their chances for NA LCS playoffs with impressive wins

NA LCS Teams Starting with “T” Secure Victories, Keeping Playoff Hopes Alive

Team Liquid and TSM, both tied for fifth place in the NA LCS standings, emerged victorious on Sunday to stay ahead of the red-hot CLG. Facing challenging playoff teams, these teams showed their strength and determination.

This day brought disappointment for teams whose names begin with the letter “C”. Clutch Gaming fell to Team Liquid, and TSM defeated Cloud9. Despite CLG’s impressive win against Echo Fox, their chances of making it to the playoffs were affected.

Incredible Macro Play from Team Liquid against Clutch Gaming

Team Liquid demonstrated exceptional macro play, outmaneuvering Clutch Gaming across the map. With smart lane assignments, they were able to safely push side lanes while maintaining vision. Their early Baron steal, taking advantage of Clutch’s recall, almost secured them the win.

Bjergsen Leads TSM to Victory over Cloud9

Cloud9’s proactive movement in the bot lane for objectives initially gave TSM a hard time. However, TSM’s mid laner Søren “Bjergsen” Bjerg, playing as Syndra, proved to be unstoppable. Bjergsen dominated Cloud9’s mid laner, Nicolaj Jensen, and took control over the entire map.

Bjergsen’s crucial play came when he caught his former teammate, Dennis “Svenskeren” Johnsen, invading without backup. A blind stun immobilized Svenskeren, allowing Bjergsen to secure a kill. This led to an uncontested Baron for TSM, breaking open the game. Cloud9 struggled to recover from this crucial mistake.

TSM and Liquid Secure Playoff Advantage, CLG’s Hopes Diminish

With these wins, both Team Liquid and TSM now have a two-game lead over CLG for the final playoff spot. With only one week remaining in the regular season, a victory from either team, or a loss for CLG, will solidify the playoff field. Additionally, fans can look forward to an exciting match-up between TSM and CLG next Sunday, which could determine the entire split.
