LGD-Gaming Welcomes a New Coach

Former OMG Coach Dgc Joins LGD-Gaming as New League of Legends Coach

Chen “Dgc” Xu, a former coach of OMG, has recently been announced as the new coach for LGD-Gaming of the LPL for the remainder of the season. The team made the announcement on Twitter. Dgc started his career as a player on Vici Gaming and later moved to LGD. He is taking over the coaching role from Luo “BSYY” Sheng, who used to be his teammate.

According to LGD’s Twitter, “Dgc was a celebrated Dota player, playing under EHOME, CH, and NV.cn before switching to pro LoL in 2011 and then becoming an LoL coach in 2014.”

However, LGD also announced that due to registration paperwork, Dgc will only be allowed on stage during picks and bans from the following week and not this week.

LGD didn’t have a strong start in the LPL, losing their opening match against Worlds 2016 team I May. Dgc will aim to help LGD improve when he makes his coaching debut for the team in week three of LPL play.
