Hanwha Life Esports Signs Support Player Lehends

LCK team Hanwha Life Esports has officially announced the signing of support player Son “Lehends” Si-Woo. This move is part of a larger roster overhaul by Hanwha Life, which includes the addition of 2017 world champion Lee “CuVee” Seong-Jin and four other players.

Lehends made his debut on the Challengers Korea stage in 2016 with SBENU Korea. He then joined Griffin in 2018, participating in their impressive first season in the LCK.

Griffin’s Missed Opportunities

In 2019, Lehends and the rest of the Griffin team qualified for Worlds but ended their journey in the group stage. Last week, Lehends and his teammates decided to part ways with Griffin.

A New Beginning for Hanwha Life

Meanwhile, Hanwha Life had a disappointing 2018 season, finishing last in the LCK Summer Split. They had to fight to maintain their spot in the 2020 LCK Promotion tournament, which they ultimately won.

However, Hanwha Life is determined to turn things around in 2020. They have assembled a new roster, including CuVee, former KT Rolster bot laner Jeon “Zenit” Tae-Gwon, jungler Kang “Haru” Min-Seung, mid laner Kang “Tempt” Myung-Gu, and support Oh “Vsta” Hyo-Seong. The only remaining player from the previous year is mid laner Kim “Lava” Tae-Hoon.

With these additions, Hanwha Life looks to make a strong comeback in the upcoming season.
